Let's see...Broke up with boyfriend. It's a shame I let myself love him that much. Let it get in the way of seeing he was NOT the man I saw in him. Sadly, he never will be. I had to forget what I wanted and remember what I deserved... Still sucks, though!
Made it through my first year of college. I think I made about 15 friends (3 or 4 good ones), and will only be in touch with 8 or so for the fall. I've latched on to a certain group, mostly because they're pretty much fantastic! But I should branch out!
I am desperately unemployed. It's embarrassing. So I'm constantly on the job hunt... A lot of places are still hiring summer work, it's just a matter of getting them to call me back!
And... My computer has given up on me! And of course, the thing I need to either fix it or back up my files and start all over is in Baton Rouge with the friend whose computer I helped get up and running... Silly me! Must remember to take all my toys when I go home!
So... Summary: Life is not at all as I would like it to be. If I could just have one thing go right, that'd be excellent. But I suppose I'm still blessed with my family and friends (of who's left down here)... Just trying to get my life together and it's not going so well. But I'm content for the most part............. If that makes sense.
