I had never heard of a Katamari before I came across the pattern. Actually, I decided to look it up about 25% of the way through! But apparently it's from this game that picks every thing up and gets bigger.
The only deviation (haha...) I made from the original pattern is that I didn't make it magnetic because I was just looking for a ball to make so a friend of mine and I could play catch. I do plan to make one for my mother so she has a quirking place (thing?) to store and travel with her sewing notions.  Background brushes:  |
